I'm Darling Bow
When I found this vintage rayon grosgrain ribbon in a NYC ribbonerie (love that word, BTW), I didn't hesitate to buy a whole roll. And I'm glad I didn't hesitate, because if I had, I would have missed my flight out of town. (Imagine: crazy lady schlepping 50 lbs of ribbon and trims and crazy bits and baubles through Manhattan madness...alternating between a sad sprint and a hopeless appeal for a taxi to save me from my tardiness and sweaty misery. Not a pretty picture.) What I'm saying is that I sacrificed for this ribbon. That's all. And it was worth it. And I made my flight in the nick of time. If I hadn't, I'd have to charge $52 for each bow to recoup my costs. Thank heavens for all of us!
My sincere apologies for this long and circuitous description. Try this alternative on:
This bow is darling. Amen.
